徐连高铁已于今年2月8日开通运营。线路西起江苏徐州,东至连云港市,设计时速350公里,全线设徐州东、大许南(暂不办客)、邳州东、新沂南、东海县、连云港等6座客运车站。徐州至连云港最快只需60分钟,较开通运营前压缩1小时04分,标志着我国“八纵八横”高速铁路网最长横向通道连云港至乌鲁木齐的高速铁路全线通车。

连接安徽省安庆市与江西省九江市,是《中长期铁路网规划》中“八纵八横”高速铁路网主通道之一“京港(台)通道”的重要组成部分,将推进大别山革命老区连片开发战略,显著改善皖江城市带基础设施。全线设安庆、新安庆西、潜山、太湖南、宿松东、黄梅南、孔垄北、庐山等车站,正线全长170.9公里,设计时速350公里,初步计划今年底建成通车。
